Our Advanced Continuing Education program is registered with the AIA/CES for cintinuing professional education.

NuSystems sponsored our first Advanced Continuing Education (ACE) event in Reno on Thursday, September 17th, 2009, by teaching a class on "Hiding Technology". Our ACE program enables us to give continuing education credits to Architects and Interior Designers.

NuSystems hosted a booth at RenoTechExpo 2009 hosted by IQ Technology Solutions in Reno on April 30 to expose our products and services to "techies" who were interested in the latest home electronics gadgets and integrated systems.

"We were able to introduce a lot of products, services, and concepts to people who come from a technical background who really had no idea of what's available," related Mike Haanpaa, Sales Manager for NuSystems.

Of particular interest were "smart" home energy control systems that could be managed remotely over the internet and new technology that enables Apple's iPhone to interface with home electronic systems.

NuSystems hosted a Sierra Chapter NKBA Meeting in Reno on April 15, 2009, that was attended by building industry archetects, designers, and other professionals. Marc Tieszen from Lutron Electronics was our guest speaker and he gave a great presentation on "Go Green with Lighting Control".

The Sierra NKBA Chapter welcomes and encourages anyone in the construction industry to come and network with a great group of building professionals – builders, remodelers, interior designers, architects, suppliers, and the like. Remodeling is a big part of each and every one of our businesses right now and this is a great opportunity for you to meet up with others in the remodeling business. Knowledge and relationships are key to all of us succeeding in this down economy!
