I hope some of you who read this made it to our first annual Community Life Safety Fair event. We had a great time!
The REMSA helicopter landing in our parking lot was very exciting and it was great to see inside it without having to be hurt. Douglas Disposal gave the kids a great time sitting in the big truck. Other activities for the kids included a fire truck and police cars to explore, face painting and fingerprinting.
One of the highlights was the police dog demonstrations. It's amazing how much the dogs can help and everyone was impressed with the work they and their handlers did.
Lots of bargains were available at our tent sale and the tri-tip sandwiches were wonderful.
A big thanks to all of our exhibitors and radio station 99.1 KKFT for help in making this possible.
